Mohamed Salah Is Only The FOURTH Fastest Player At Liverpool This Season
| Last updated
Mohamed Salah arrived at Liverpool in the summer with the reputation as a speed demon, but with the 2017/18 season a few games old, he's surprisingly just the fourth fastest player at the club thus far.
The Egyptian winger returned to the Premier League, following his miserable stint with Chelsea, by signing for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in deal believed to be worth £36 million.
And he's already shown the Anfield faithfuls his blistering pace. Salah scored a superb goal against Arsenal after completing a decisive counter-attack. Once Liverpool defended the corner, he poked the ball pass Hector Bellerin before running half the length of the pitch to brilliantly slot home.

While Salah showcased his speed, there's still THREE players who have managed to run faster than him so far this season.
The good folks over at Opta have crunched the all-important numbers to determine Liverpool's five quickest players.
5. Roberto Firmino - 32.91 km/h
4. Mohamed Salah - 33.11 km/h
3. Alberto Moreno - 33.19 km/h
2. Joe Gomez - 33.93 km/h
1. Sadio Mane - 34.84 km/h
It's not exactly a surprise to see the rapid Senegalese pinch the top spot, though Salah making it in at just fourth is indeed a shock.
Meanwhile, the Red's are back in action this weekend as they travel to Manchester City on Saturday lunch time for another crunch league encounter.
