Darragh Ennis, a Chaser on the ITV show The Chase, has created a particularly challenging Premier League transfers quiz that has been been shared far and wide on TikTok.

The 44-year-old, who is a scientist and postdoctoral researcher at Oxford University, initially appeared on The Chase as a contestant in 2017 before being scouted by producers to become a Chaser.

Away from the show and Liverpool fan Ennis has become a TikTok sensation in recent years, with his popular football-related quizzes picking up thousands of views on the video sharing platform.

One of his most difficult to date featured five questions around transfers in the Premier League.

As you can see from the clip below, 'The Menace' began by asking for the most expensive transfer between two Premier League clubs, which was Moises Caicedo, who joined Chelsea from Brighton for around £115 million.

For those unable to watch the clip, here are the other questions.

Who was the first transfer between two Premier League clubs that broke the British transfer record? Hint: It was in 1995 for £7 million.

Andy Cole smashed the record back in 1995, when he moved from Newcastle United to Manchester United.

Which player has signed and played for the most Premier League clubs? Hint: he played for eight between 1998 and 2018?

Marcus Bent. The striker played for Crystal Palace, Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, Everton, Charlton Athletic, Wigan Athletic and Birmingham City.

Ennis added: "For those who said Peter Crouch, he's actually joint-second place with seven."

Which goalkeeper commanded the highest transfer fee by a Premier League club?

The highest fee paid for a goalkeeper is another Chelsea signing, Kepa Arrizabalaga, who joined the Blues from Athletic Bilbao for £71 million, which remains the highest fee ever paid for a goalkeeper.

When Jermain Defoe moved from Spurs to West Ham, which striker was transferred to West Ham as part of the deal?

Bobby Zamora was part of the deal to bring Defoe to Spurs in February 2004. He went on to become a cult hero at the Hammers, scoring 40 goals in 149 appearances in all competitions.

How did you get on? Let us know your score in the comments.
