A list of 'perfect' hat-tricks scored in the Premier League era has emerged, with the last two coming from Manchester City players.

Only 35 players have the honour of being able to say they've scored a hat-trick with their left foot, right foot and head.

Erling Haaland was the last man to do it when he netted three against Nottingham Forest in 2022.

The Norway international joined City from Borussia Dortmund and set about tearing Premier League defences apart almost immediately.

It was Haaland's second hat-trick in the space of four days after already demolishing Crystal Palace the previous week.

He's not the only City player from that year to make the list. Raheem Sterling's final campaign at the Etihad Stadium saw him put Norwich City to the sword.

No player has managed to grab a perfect hat-trick since 2022, proving just how hard it is.

You don't have to be the biggest name on the planet to register one too.

Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score a 'perfect' hat-trick during his two spells in England, while Mohamed Salah is yet to come close as well.

Premier League cult hero Kevin Nolan have managed to, while names such as former Wigan Athletic man Jordi Gomez are unexpected.

Robbie Fowler, Yakubu and Sergio Aguero are the only two men who've managed to do it multiple times, with three to Fowler's name and two to Yakubu and Aguero's.
