The English Premier League is one of the richest in the world thanks to a plethora of wealthy owners who are willing to go above and beyond for their club.
Right now, 15 of the 20 competing clubs in the top flight of English football are owned by billionaires.
Manchester City and Newcastle United are owned by the Abu Dhabi United Group and the Saudi Public Investment Fund, with the former reportedly being the fifth most valuable football team in the world.

On the flip side, the owners of Sheffield United, Brentford and Nottingham Forest are millionaires and, thus do not have as deep pockets to fish into and excess cash to splash.
Unfortunately, the net worth of Luton Town and Burnley ownership is not currently publicly known.

20) Burnley - Alan Pace (N/A)
In 2020, American firm ALK Capital took over Burnley Football Club when their sports investment arm, Velocity Sports Partners, purchased an 84 per cent share.

According to the Burnley website, Alan Pace is the managing director with the majority share however, his net worth is currently unknown and not available for the public to access.
19) Luton Town - Luton Town Football Club 2020 Limited (N/A)
As per the disclosure of ownership, a fan-created foundation named ‘2020 Holdings LTD’ owns 100 per cent of the issued share capital of Luton Football Club.
However, David Wilkinson, who serves as chairman of the London-based club, reportedly has a net worth of £25.74 million.
18) Sheffield United - Abdullah bin Musaid Al Saud (£158million)
In September 2013, Prince Abdullah bin Musaid Al Saud of the House of Saud bought a 50 per cent stake in Sheffield United’s parent company, Blades Leisure Ltd. At the time of the investment, the Premier League club were plying their trade in League One.

However, six years later, Prince Abdullah bought out the previous co-owner Kevin McCabe and now has full ownership over the club.
His net worth is estimated at £158million.
17) Brentford - Matthew Benham (£220million)
Oxford University graduate Matthew Benham took full control of Brentford in June 2012 when the club was in the third tier of English football.

With an estimated net worth of £220million, Benham is currently one of the least-wealthy club owners in the Premier League.
However, during his time at the helm, helped navigate the Bees to the Premier League and orchestrated the building of the Gtech Community Stadium in 2020.
16) Nottingham Forest - Evangelos Marinakis (£489million)
Greek media mogul Evangelos Marinakis has owned Nottingham Forest football club since May 2017 and is reported to have a net worth of £489 million.

As well as owning the Nottingham-based team, the 56-year-old owns Olympiacos Football Club.
15) Brighton & Hove Albion - Tony Bloom (£1.03billion)
The least-wealthy billionaire to own a Premier League club is English poker player Tony Bloom.
Known also as The Lizard, the 53-year-old has owned his boyhood club, Brighton, since 2009 and is also an investor in Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. His reported net worth is a cool £1.03billion.
14) AFC Bournemouth - William P. Foley (£1.26billion)
The fourteenth richest club owner is former American attorney William P. Foley, who is reportedly worth £1.26billion.
In December 2022, he bought Bournemouth alongside a group of investors and currently serves as the team’s chairman.
As well as owning The Cherries, the 78-year-old recently acquired a minority stake in Ligue 1 side, FC Lorient.

The Glazer family originally bought Man Utd in 2005 for a solid £790 million and took full control of the club.
However, the American business owners currently only own 69 per cent of the club and are estimated to have a net worth of £3.71billion.
12) Crystal Palace - John Textor, David Blitzer, Josh Harris, Steve Parish (£4.34billion)
Crystal Palace owners John Textor, David Blitzer, Josh Harris, Steve Parish come together with an estimated net worth of £4.34billion - making them the 12th richest owners in the Premier League today.
Parish has also served as the club’s chairman since 2010.
11) Tottenham Hotspur - Daniel Levy, Joe Lewis (£4.58billion)
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and majority owner Joe Lewis are just outside of the top ten richest Premier League club owners, with a reported net worth of £4.58billion.
ENIC Group have owned the North London club since 2001 and reportedly spent a staggering £1.2billion in transfer fees since the takeover.
10) Wolverhampton Wanderers FC - Guo Guangchang, Liang Xinjun, Wang Qunbin (£5.45billion)
Shanghai-based conglomerate Fosun International bought Wolves in 2016 for £45million.
Since the takeover by Guo Guangchang, Liang Xinjun, Wang Qunbin, the club has returned to the Premier League.
The trio apparently have a net worth of £5.45billion.
9) West Ham United - David Sullivan, Daniel Kretinsky (£5.76billion)
The Irons were bought by Welsh businessman and former pornographer David Sullivan and the late magazine publisher David Gold in 2010.
Sullivan is currently the largest single shareholder of West Ham United while Czech businessman Daniel Kretinsky serves as director of the club.

8) Fulham - Shahid Khan (£6.24billion)
Coming in at eighth place on the richest Premier League owners list is 73-year-old billionaire Shahid Khan.
In 2013, he negotiated the purchase of Fulham from Mohamed Al Fayed for a deal estimated to be around £150-200million
7) Liverpool - John W. Henry, Tom Werner (£7.74billion)
Liverpool owners John W. Henry and Tom Werner have an alleged net worth of £7.74billon and bought the Merseyside club back in 2010.
Interestingly, the former also owns an American professional baseball team, the Boston Red Sox.
6) Everton - 777 Partners (£8billion)
After selling his stake in Arsenal, Monaco-based businessman Farhad Moshiri purchased a 49.9 per cent stake in Everton in 2016.
In January 2022, it was announced that the 68-year-old had increased his shares in the Toffees to 94 per cent.
However, despite having an estimated net worth of £2.29billion, Mashiri has recently sold the club to American investment firm 777 Partners.
The company already have stakes in the likes of Sevilla, Genoa and Melbourne Victory and is estimated to be worth £8billion.

Coming in hot at number 5 is Aston Villa owners Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris with an estimated worth of £9.39billion.
The latter, who also owns a stake in Adidas, helped save the Villains from administration and assumed the role of chairman in July 2018.
4) Arsenal - Stan Kroenke (£10.18billion)
American businessman Stan Kroenke became a shareholder of Arsenal in May 2007 and was appointed to the Board of Directors a year later.
In 2018, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment - of which he is chairman - acquired 100 per cent of the club.
The 76-year-old is estimated to have a net worth of £10.18 billion.
3) Chelsea - Todd Boehly, Hansjorg Wyss, Mark Walter (£12.47billion)
Sliding into top three territory are Chelsea owners Todd Boehly, Hansjorg Wyss, and Mark Walter.
American businessman Boehly completed their takeover of Chelsea in May 2022 which became the most expensive team transaction in professional sports history.
The team bought The Blues for a staggering £4.25 billion from Roman Abramovich. Their net worth is estimated at £12.47billion.
2) Manchester City - Abu Dhabi United Group, Silver Lake (£17.37billion)
While other Premier League clubs are owned by millionaires and billionaires alike, Man City is owned by the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour.
The 52-year-old acquired City in September 2008 from former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, and the Abu Dhabi United Group had the club ownership transferred to them.
