The Premier League will return again this weekend following on from the latest batch of European fixtures - but there will be an unusual kick-off slot.

Many Premier League sides are competing in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League - with those in action on Thursday night therefore playing on the Sunday by default.

There will be some no early kick-off on the Saturday as is normal, with Brentford vs Burnley, Manchester City vs Leeds and Sunderland vs Bournemouth all happening at 3pm.

Everton look to build on their historic win away at Manchester United with a 5:30pm kick-off against Newcastle, ahead of Spurs vs Fulham at 8pm.

Both games will be shown live on Sky Sports but it is on Sunday where things get interesting.

At 12pm, United travel to Selhurst Park to play a Crystal Palace side who play Chelsea's partner Strasbourg in the Conference League on Thursday.

The TNT Sports TV fixture will precede the west Midlands derby between Aston Villa vs Wolves, Nottingham Forest vs Brighton and West Ham vs Liverpool.

All three be shown on Sky Sports but at 2:05pm, instead of 2pm. According to The Sun, the reason for the strange kick-off times is because Palace vs United is happening earlier in the schedule and those involved in TV did not want for the games to clash.

The most anticipated fixture of the weekend comes later on Sunday afternoon as the top two meet at 4:30pm with second-placed Chelsea hosting league leaders Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues can move within three points of the Gunners with a victory on their home patch.

We do have ourselves a double gameweek as there are further Premier League fixtures in midweek, including three fixtures on Tuesday 2 December, six games on Wednesday 3 December and a final clash between United and West Ham at Old Trafford on Thursday 4 December.

Next weekend will see the return of the early Saturday kick-off at 12:30 between Aston Villa and Arsenal and a revert back to a 2pm kick-off on Sunday, where Brighton and West Ham lock horns.
