A Premier League footballer's girlfriend has hilariously broken down how they 'split the bills' in a viral TikTok video.

Ever wondered how a couple involving a Premier League footballer manage their lives financially?

Well, Sophie Lawlor, who's Everton star Jake O'Brien's long-term girlfriend, has posted a video jokingly revealing how they split the bills.

On TikTok, she hopped on a trend, sharing three images in a video that has gone viral.

The first image was a selfie of herself and O'Brien, accompanied with the caption: "Here's how we split bills as a couple who lives together."

Before moving onto an image of herself, with the words: "I pay for rent, gas & electric, council tax, car insurance, car fuel, dog food, food shop, girly things and travel."

The clip ends with a picture of O'Brien's Everton unveiling, captioned: "He gives me the money to pay for it all."

Sophie regularly posts on TikTok and Instagram, with O'Brien at the centre of many of her amusing videos.

The defender, 23, began his footballing career in the youth set-up of hometown club Cork City before being promoted to the first-team.

He then signed for Crystal Palace on loan before penning a permanent deal, but he failed to make a single appearance for the Selhurst Park outfit.

The Irishman enjoyed loan spells at Swindon Town and RWD Molenbeek before joining Lyon, where he shone, prompting Everton to bring him back to the top flight in a transfer worth £16.4 million.

At the time of his signing, he said: "I'm buzzing and so happy to have signed.

"I've been dreaming of this kind of move in the Premier League, with such a historic club. It's a very exciting move for me."

O'Brien has only played three games for the Toffees this season, including just one league appearance.
