Nicolas Jackson makes it two goals in two games, Chelsea's striker problems are over

The Blues' new singing is more than endearing himself to Chelsea fans following his big money move.

Nicolas Jackson made it two goals in two games for Chelsea with an absolute peach of a finish.

The Blues’ new signing has more than endeared himself to Chelsea fans with his displays during the pre-season.

The young striker made it 1-0 against Newcastle at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the Premier League Summer Series matchup.

The 22-year-old made an intelligent run behind Newcastle’s defence before he was expertly fed the ball by Ian Maatsen.

Running onto the ball he calmly slid the ball past Martin Dubravka and into the bottom corner. As cool as you’d like.

It’s the type of number nine play that Chelsea have been missing in recent years.

Jackson also looked impressive against Brighton on the weekend, grabbing a thunderous goal and an assist as well.

The Senegalese international provided some brilliant link-up play with Mykhalio Mudryk’s wonderful individual effort.

Jackson looked lively throughout and capped off his performance with a thunderous effort in the 76th minute to grab his first goal for the Blues.

Chelsea fans are all saying the same thing about their new signing.

One wrote: "I don't tend to exaggerate but Nicolas Jackson is winning the Ballon d'Or."

Another said: "We've signed the next Drogba in Nicolas Jackson."

A third added: "Nicolas Jackson carries himself like he never thinks he's going to miss a chance. It's been quite a while since we've seen that mindset in a Chelsea shirt."
