Lisandro Martinez kick-starts yet another fight after a crunching tackle on Jude Bellingham

The World Cup winner was booked after a brutal tackle on the Englishman.

Lisandro Martinez has sparked yet another fight after a crunching tackle on Jude Bellingham.

The Argentinian copped a yellow card after a brutal two-footed challenge left Real Madrid’s newest signing flattened.

The Madrid players didn’t take too kindly to the challenge with the players quickly coming to the aid of their new teammate.

A bit of push-and-shove proceeded following the challenge as the World Cup winner copped a booking from the referee.

The midfielder jumped up immediately following the challenge and the referee did well to calm down the matter.

It echoed similar scenes on the weekend between Manchester United and Arsenal after Martinez produced a cruching tackle on Bukayo Saka.

The Argentine defender is known for being aggressive and loving physical contact and he lived up to that when he went straight through Saka.

Martinez won the first ball and flew into the tackle, completely taking Saka out. The England international gave a small shove while he sat up but his captain Martin Odegaard was straight in to confront Martinez, who was promptly received a yellow card.

Tempers looked like they might just flare but things were diffused just in time. Still, the tackle accrued a whole lot of reaction online, with Martinez slammed.

Fans had a similar reaction to his tackle on Bellingham.

One fan said: "Imo no need for this in a preseason friendly."

Another wrote: "Lisandro Martínez you’re a filthy player."

A third added: "Lisandro Martinez actually has the small man syndrome lol, man relax it's just a friendly."
