Viktor Gyokeres, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko have been compared following their blockbuster moves to the Premier League, and one player stands out.

During what was undoubtedly one of the most exciting transfer windows in Premier League history, several of the biggest talent in football came to England.

Across the Premier League, clubs remained busy throughout the summer, securing big transfers for record-breaking fees.

With most of the top clubs prioritising new attacking signings, Arsenal brought Gyokeres in as their new star man up front, Liverpool added Ekitike to their already impressive front line, while Manchester United pulled the trigger on the highly-rated Sesko.

Now that all three players have had several months to adjust to life in the Premier League, it's fair to compare them and see which club has come away with the better player.

Liverpool were the first club to sign a new striker over the summer, securing a deal for Ekitike that saw the Frenchman join from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth £79million.

Following a fallout with club officials at Sporting, Gyokeres was next to move to the Premier League, with Arsenal paying £54.8m for the 27-year-old.

Finally, Sesko joined United as the club's third major signing in attack over the summer, joining from RB Leipzig for a reported fee of £66.26m.

Since their arrivals, each of Gyokeres, Ekitike and Sesko have been given ample opportunities for their new clubs, with statistics provided by Squawka showing just who has performed the best.

So far in the Premier League this season, both Gyokeres and Sesko have made 10 appearances, with Ekitike making nine.

In this time, Gyokeres and Ekitike have averaged 0.5 goals per 90 minutes, with Sesko averaging marginally less with 0.4 per 90.

However, looking further down the list of stats, Ekitike emerges as the clear winner so far, with the Liverpool star boasting superior figures in several key parts of his game.

Ekitike boasts a non-penalty goal record of 0.5 per 90, marginally better than Gyokeres and Sesko who have 0.4, while maintaining a higher conversion rate with 27.27% vs Gyokeres' 25% and Sesko's 13.33%.

The Liverpool striker also boats superior statistics per 90 in passing accuracy, take-on success, ground duel success and yellow cards.

With his impressive statistics in his opening spell at Liverpool, it's no surprise that Ekitike has been favoured over Alexander Isak, who joined Liverpool on deadline day for a record fee of £125m, for much of the season so far.
