Daniel Sturridge has just referenced the 'stanky leg' on Super Sunday, stunning Micah Richards and Roy Keane who had a priceless reaction.

The former Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool forward is part of the Sky Sports team for the 2023/24 season after making an appearance on the channel last season.

He's at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea vs. Liverpool, alongside Richards and Keane. But before his two old sides come up against each other, Brentford host Tottenham.

And Sturridge provided analysis on Brentford's attack as they start the campaign without star man Ivan Toney following his suspension.

The 33-year-old highlighted Yoane Wissa and the 'dynamic' Bryan Mbeumo, claiming the Cameroon international is capable of making defenders do the 'stanky leg' in a hilarious reference.

On Mbeumo, he said: "Prone to making defenders do the stanky leg - I don't know if you know what that is?"

Richards asked for an explanation before host Dave Jones said it's a 'new one' for him. Amid the talk of 'stanky leg', Keane smirked in a brilliant moment.
