Anthony Elanga absolutely destroys Mykhailo Mudryk with stunning piece of skill, he got cooked

Anthony Elanga nearly added a sensational second goal against Chelsea.

Anthony Elanga produced a moment of magic as he absolutely destroyed Mykhailo Mudryk in Nottingham Forest's big win over Chelsea.

Elanga scored the only goal of the game as he pounced on a Moises Caicedo mistake to hand Forest a huge win on the road.

Chelsea's £115 million midfielder lost control of the ball, with Taiwo Awoniyi picking up the loose ball before piercing a pass to the former Manchester United winger.

From there, Elanga took a couple of touches to compose himself before finding the back of the net to give his side the lead at Stamford Bridge.

And he nearly added a stunning second deep, deep into stoppage time when he skinned Chelsea's Ukrainian star.

A late break saw a duel between Elanga and Mudryk, with the Swede refusing to head into the box as he took the ball to the corner flag.

But he had other ideas once he got forced out wide as he beat Noni Madueke before destroying Mudryk in a sensational sequence.

After beating Madueke and Mudryk, Elanga smashed the post as he failed to round off his move with a goal.

But his moment of magic sent social media wild as Man United fans online made their feelings known about the sale of the player this summer.

One X user wrote: "Antony hasn’t done this once, doesn’t mean Elanga should have stayed but raises a lot of questions."

A second said: "I said repeatedly loan is the move and selling him permanently is a disaster. Missed out on - £50-55m extra."

A third added: "We sold an absolute monster."

A fourth said: "We sold him and kept the fidget spinner and bumcho."

Another commented: "Tidy. But should have squared it! Happy for him. Let him cook."

Will Man United regret the sale of Elanga by the end of the season? Let us know what you think.
