Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Spotted Just Moments After Getting Off Flight To Seal Transfer Deadline Day Move

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Spotted Just Moments After Getting Off Flight To Seal Transfer Deadline Day Move

A good move?

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has landed in Spain on deadline day to complete a loan move to Barcelona.

The 32-year-old Gabon international has been heavily linked with a transfer since being stripped of the captaincy in December following another disciplinary breach ahead of the club's Premier League clash against Southampton.

He hasn't featured for the North London club since their 2-1 defeat to Everton on December 6 and after weeks of rumours surrounding his future, it looks like he will finally leave on a temporary basis.

It is believed Aubameyang, who is currently on £350,000-a-week at Arsenal, has an agreement in principle to join La Liga side Barcelona on loan and has travelled there in the hope of completing a deal.

He arrived in Barcelona on Monday morning and was filmed leaving El Prat airport before being pictured in a car nearby.

Journalist Gerard Romero posted footage of the forward departing the terminal on social media, while images of Aubameyang also emerged online.

Despite travelling to Barcelona in the hope of securing a transfer, a deal will only go through if the Spanish giants manage to offload at least one player in the coming hours, according to The Guardian.

Ousmane Dembele has been linked with a move throughout the window. In fact, The Independent claim that Dembele has been offered to Arsenal as part of the Aubameyang deal.

Only time will tell if this deal manages to go through.
