Neymar received a mixture of boos and cheers as he scored for Paris Saint-Germain, with Lionel Messi cutting an extremely muted figure in the goal celebrations.

Messi and Neymar were booed before kick-off, with PSG fans continuing their ruthless approach during the match at the Parc des Princes.

The PSG stars were met with loud boos and whistles whenever they got on the ball against Bordeaux.

And supporters even booed the Brazilian after he scored his side's second goal.

The former Barcelona man didn't celebrate his tap in, with Messi also barely celebrating his involvement in the move.

Neymar's name was then whistled when announced inside the stadium.

Do you recall a home player ever been booed for scoring a goal? Bizarre atmosphere in Paris this afternoon.

Of course, the backlash comes after the French giants were spectacularly dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.

PSG blew a two-goal aggregate lead as they go another season without European success.
