Neymar having a conversation in English has seriously impressed fans

The PSG star rarely gives interviews in English but he impressed fans by answering questions about the cost of his clothes.

Neymar has impressed fans by doing a rare interview in English, with the Paris Saint-Germain star linked to a Premier League move this summer.

Life at PSG hasn't gone according to plan for Neymar since he arrived as the world's most expensive player of all time back in 2017.

The club have yet to win the Champions League and his numerous injuries have stopped him having the impact he would have hoped for in Paris, and he was also overshadowed by Kylian Mbappe.

Rumours of his departure have been frequent and only turned up in volume in the past year since Mbappe decided to stay at the club.

Chelsea are said to currently lead any race to sign him though Newcastle United and Manchester United have also been linked.

One issue is how good the Brazilian's English is but it appears not bad at all, as he answered one TikTokers questions about how much his clothes cost.

"Why's he so humble? Disgusting," joked one fan.

"He's preparing a move to MLS I can smell it," said a second on the forward's grasp of the language.

One Chelsea fan added: "Bring him to the Bridge man, can fully speak the language love it."

"Who knew Neymar had such great language skills?! Impressed by his ability to chat in English," commented a fourth.

And another replied: "I legit had no idea he spoke let alone understood English."

PSG have already seen Lionel Messi depart the Parc des Princes this summer, with the seven time Ballon d'Or winner leaving for Inter Miami.

It had long been expected that he would leave the French capital but his destination was thought to be Barcelona or Saudi Arabia.

However the 35-year-old will now be playing in America for the next part of his career, something his former club didn't seem too happy with.
