Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe is talk of the town at the moment after his sensational run of form.

The 18-year old has scored 17 goals in all competitions this season, with his latest strike coming as he played a starring role in Monaco ousting Manchester City on away goals to reach the Champions League quarter finals.

He has been rewarded for his fine form with a well-deserved call-up to the France national team and the buzz surrounding the teenager is only likely to increase if he makes a big splash in international football.

There is already talk of this exciting Monaco side being raided in the summer and Mbappe, one of the club's top talents, has been linked with pretty much every club under the sun.

Manchester United have been linked but it appears as though Real Madrid is the most likely destination for Mbappe if he does leave Monaco this summer.

AS believe that Madrid are the favourites to sign Mbappe given the fact that Jorge Mendes, the super agent who is associated with Real, wants to represent him.

And Zinedine Zidane is also said to be a huge admirer of Mbappe.

The France legend lobbied for Los Blancos to sign him three years ago when he was managing the club's B team, with Mbappe confirming the interest.

Commenting on how close he was to signing for Madrid, he said:

"I lived as a child who saw Zidane as the greatest player in the history of France calling me. I did not join Madrid because I did not want to leave my country so early."

Real's interest remains though and after Mbappe's rise to stardom, Monaco would look for a massive fee of 80 million euros if they do decide to sell him.

Through FIFA 17 career mode, we are able to get a glimpse of how things could pan out for Mbappe in the coming years.

To begin with, Mbappe is 71 rated on the game and has fairly impressive stats such as 81 pace.

But his potential is absolutely next level.

If all goes well, by the time he turns 25 on career mode, he should reach an incredible 87 rating, where his stats are just unbelievable.

97 acceleration, 96 ball control, 91 dribbling, 88 crossing, 84 finishing, 89 long shots - much like he is in real life, he's basically the full package as far as attacking players go.

His estimated potential is 92, which will make him an absolute machine for any avid Career Mode players.

If you are looking for the next big thing to bring to your team on career mode, Kylian Mbappe is your man.

And with the way he is going, you can surely expect his rating to improve dramatically when FIFA 18 is released. Mbappe has been sensational this season and is well deserving of the hype he is generating for himself at the moment.

It turns out that the 18-year-old forward has been tearing defences apart since the age of nine, as this incredible footage proves.

The free kick at 50 seconds is a particular highlight. How does a nine-year-old even do that?

The French wonderkid sees four-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo as his inspiration and idol; just imagine if he got the opportunity to play with him for Real Madrid?
