Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has reportedly warned his side that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to create a 'super-team' featuring him and Lionel Messi amid a contract dispute.

The 34-year-old Spanish centre-back remains an integral part of Zinedine Zidane's starting XI, but Madrid have growing concerns over their legendary captain's future.

Ramos, who has been linked with Manchester City, is currently stalling a new deal and is out of contract in the summer.

And the Madrid star is free to speak with clubs outside of Spain and even sign a pre-contract agreement ahead of a deal starting in June.

PSG are keen to reinforce their squad and are reportedly eyeing up both Ramos and Messi, with the Barcelona captain also out of contract in the summer.

The Daily Mail reports that Josep Pedrerol claimed on Spanish programme El Larguero that Ramos had a 'cordial meeting' with Madrid president Florentino Perez ahead of the Elche match.

Ramos apparently told Perez in the meeting: "I am not accepting the proposal you have made to me... and from now on I will listen to offers."

And Pedrerol went on to suggest that the Spain captain added: "Someone from PSG has told me that they are going to create a great team with me and [Lionel] Messi."

Madrid have put forward an offer for Ramos, with the new deal running until the summer of 2023.

However, reports in Spain suggest that talks between Madrid and Ramos have hit a complete stalemate.

The Mail pointed to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo's front-page story, featuring the headline 'A Real Mess.'

The report claims that Madrid boss Zidane and the club's uppers are still waiting to hear from Ramos and his camp over whether he will sign a new deal.

Deportes Cuatro claims that there had been a 'total agreement' over Ramos's new deal for weeks, but now the issue of money has emerged.

Madrid's concerns over Ramos are growing and Los Blancos are eying up Villarreal centre-back Pau Torres and Bayern Munich star David Alaba as potential replacements in the summer.
