Timo Werner Scores On His Chelsea Debut As Hakim Ziyech Delivers Incredible Cross

Timo Werner has scored four minutes into his Chelsea debut with fellow new boy Hakim Ziyech delivering an incredible cross for their goal.

Werner wasted little time to make an impact with the German striker finding the back of the net in the fourth minute against Brighton.

Ziyech picked out Callum Hudson-Odoi with an inch-perfect sweeping pass with Werner eventually scoring from close range to put his side in front.

Needless to say, the link up play between Ziyech and Werner sent Chelsea fans wild on social media.

One Twitter user wrote: "Everyone's talking about the Werner goal, but that ball by Ziyech man. This is what arsenal fans thought willian could provide."

A second tweeted: "Ziyech with an unreal pass to Hudson Odoi who sets up Werner, wow what a goal man, Chelsea are back."

A third added: "Just look at Hakim Ziyech ! That cross!!! Sweet left foot."

Werner's early goal was cancelled out by a late Pascal Gross penalty as the friendly match ended 1-1.
