Middlesbrough midfielder Marten de Roon has produced an amazing gesture to a young fan who sent him a letter.
There are so many examples of youngsters being inspired by footballers and there are also a long list of instances where players have surprised those who idolise them.
We can only imagine that footballers get a whole lot of fan mail.

De Roon, a summer signing for Boro, received a letter from a young fan called Henry - who cites the 25-year old as his idol.
The 25-year old was greatly touched by the letter and turned up at the youngster's house out of the blue to greet him and deliver a signed shirt with his 'De Roon 15' on the back.
He wrote on Twitter:

De Roon comes across as incredible likeable chap and young Henry is in his element.
Even more reason to like the Middlesbrough man is the fact that he has the best ever Twitter bio we have seen from a footballer.
What a bloke.
