This big footballing news this weekend will almost definitely be Mamadou Sakho's failed drugs test, it will have to take something rather massive to boot that off the number one spot. And whilst he can't say much Jurgen Klopp did have to face a question about his player on Saturday.
It emerged before Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Newcastle on Saturday that the French centre-back, who has shown an upturn in form recently, had a positive drugs test last month following a Europa League game at Old Trafford.
Sakho is awaiting investigation from UEFA and whilst he hasn't been banned by his club they have decided not to pick him until it's all sorted. And of course the manager had to face a question about the situation.

As the former Dortmund manager mentions there's not much he can say outside of the club's official statement on the matter where they confirmed that the player hasn't been suspended by them or Europe's footballing organisation at the present time.
