In what makes for difficult considering what was emerged, Chapecoense's official Facebook page posted a nearly two minute-long live clip of the team and technical staff boarding the flight to Medena, Colombia.

In a clip that has garnered over 292,000 views, the 22 players as well as staff and club officials can be seen at the Airport, showing their passports as they board the LaMia Airlines Flight 2933.

A clip of the team, who have climbed the divisions in Brazil, celebrating their Copa Sudamericana semi-final win is doing the rounds on social media.

Today it was revealed that the plane had crashed with 81 passengers aboard. 76 people were killed in the tragedy according to Police, with six reported survivors - including four Chapecoense players. Hélio Hermito Zampier Neto, Alan Rushel, Jackson Follman and Danilo were rescued.

There have been mixed reports in regards to goalkeeper Danilo. Globo Esporte reported that Danilo had survived, while Radio Bandeirentes and Colombia's Radio Caracol are reporting that after being rescued, the player passed away. We await confirmation from the hospital and authorities.

The team were flying from Bolivia to Colombia for the first leg of their Copa Sudamerica final (South America's version of the Europa League final) against Atletico Nacional on Wednesday.

CONMEBOL, the football governing body for South America, have since suspended all activities.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those involved in the crash, as well as their families and friends.

Incredibly sad news.
