Cristiano Ronaldo may have been far quieter in tonight's Champions League semi-final second leg than he was in his hat-trick scoring first leg against Atletico Madrid, but the Portuguese forward still did enough to grab a few headlines.
Real Madrid suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Vicente Calderon but advanced to the Champions League final against Juventus thanks to a 4-2 aggregate victory over the two legs against their city rivals.
Goals from Saul Niguiz and Antoine Griezmann had fired Atleti into a 2-0 lead after just 16 minutes, stunning the current European champions, until Isco struck just before half time to kill the tie.

Tensions threatened to boil over throughout the 90 minutes and, just after Isco scored, Ronaldo was seen to be involved in an altercation with Rojiblancos striker Fernando Torres.

The pair exchanged some not so pleasant words after Isco scored, which led to Torres shoving the Portugal captain.
Usually, one would expect the four time Ballon d'Or winner to crash to the turf as if he'd just taken a Dr.Marten to the knackers but instead decided to do a big old laugh at the former Chelsea and Liverpool striker in a rare display of restraint.

Los Blancos fans will be hoping Ronaldo is laughing on 3rd June when Real attempt to become the first team to successfully defend their European title in the Champions League era, against Juventus at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
