Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has explained why Alexis Sanchez remained at home this afternoon, as the rest of the Gunners first-team travelled for today's match away at Bournemouth.
As we've told you previously, the Chilean star looks set to leave the Emirates before the end of this transfer window, with his contract with the North London club set to expire in the summer.
He's been heavily linked with both Manchester clubs, with the Daily Mirror claiming today that a move to Jose Mourinho's United was the much more likelier at this stage.

But when questioned by Sky Sports at the Vitality Stadium earlier this afternoon, Wenger claimed he had no idea which was the transfer saga would sway next:
