Two Maribor Players Have Tragically Died In A Car Crash

Two Maribor players have tragically passed away.

As well as the two deaths, one remains in critical condition and another sustained minor injuries after a car crash, according to police in Slovenia.

Damjan Marjanovic, 20, lost control of the vehicle eventually crashing, him and 21-year-old Zoran Baljak have lost their lives while Ljubomir Moravian is in serious condition and Ziga Lipušček sustained minor injuries.

Aberdeen have paid tribute following the tragedy.

The Scottish side take on their Slovenian counterparts for a place in the Europa League group stage, and are due to fly out for the second leg following their 1-1 draw at Pittodrie.
