Will his wish be granted, though?

You'd think Samir Nasri would have enough on his plate to deal with, at the moment, but it would appear the on loan Sevilla midfielder is still keeping himself busy in the hopes of securing a dream switch to Real Madrid.

Nasri, who has gained more than a few unwanted column inches due to the Drip Doctors scandal and subsequent hacking of his Twitter account recently, has conducted an interview with Onze Mundial in which he declares his admiration and hero worship of Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane when asked if he would like to be coached by his fellow countryman.

"Yes, of course. That would mean I would be playing for Real Madrid."

"It is rare that a player that is so good can become that good of a coach too. His career is simply incredible. In his first 32 games, he was ahead of Guardiola, Pellegrini and Mourinho in points won. He also won the Champions League, is currently sitting top of LaLiga and were unbeaten for many games. He is having an incredible season.

"We are in a league that is far more equal than people think; it's true that there are two giants, but in the Champions League, the Copa del Rey and in the league and international games...with a little faith, you never know."

Bernabeu bound? Samir Nasri certainly hopes so. Image: PA

While Nasri is undoubtedly an incredibly gifted player when he can be bothered to show up or drag himself away from touchy feely nurses, a move to the Bernabeu does seem a little ambitious given his track record of unreliability, but you can't blame a bloke for trying, can you?
