Back in October, Jose Mourinho said he was "worried" regarding the current contract situation involving Marouane Fellaini.
Fellaini, a £27.5 million signing from Everton on the summer transfer deadline day in 2013, has grown to become an important player at Old Trafford and one that Mourinho wished to keep. Or so we thought.
The midfielder told Belgian publication Humo when asked about his future: "Honestly, I don't know. I do have something in mind, but I cannot say anything about this yet." he said.
"If Manchester didn't want me anymore, they would have told me. They made an offer and they will likely make me another one. Whether I will accept that I am not sure. Those things don't happen overnight."

Now, reports have emerged that Fellaini is being targeted by Chinese Super League sides over a potential transfer.
In fact, Fellaini has already been approached by a club in China, as his contract looks to run out in the summer, report The Mirror.
Fellaini's initial deal at Old Trafford was due to expire this past summer but earlier this year United activated an option to an extend it by a further year.

That means he is free to speak to clubs when the January window rolls around and it appears a number of Chinese Super League clubs could swoop for the former Everton midfielder.
Fellaini also attracted serious interest from Turkey in the summer, with both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce linked, but Mourinho values him highly and said he never entertained the idea of getting rid of him.
"It's easier for Galatasaray to get me than Marouane," he said back in July.

"If they need a manager, they have a chance, but Marouane? Forget it. He is too important to me."
Should Manchester United sell up or is Fellaini still an important part of the side? Let us know.
