Manchester United are trying to convince Cristiano Ronaldo to resign for the club for next season, according to stunning reports.

Ronaldo's future is up in the air because Juventus are understood to be keen on offloading their superstar forward amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Italian giants want to balance their books by getting rid of the 35-year-old who earns £28 million-per-year.

And it is believed that United have expressed an interest, per football journalist Christian Martin.

He tweeted: "LAST MOMENT: our sources in Manchester and Porto confirm that Manchester United tempted Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to the club for next season.

"The Portuguese analyzes it. Juventus would negotiate it if he asks for it."

Ronaldo is weighing up his next move as he considers a sensational move back to Old Trafford.

What's more, Juventus are prepared to negotiate with the Premier League side if the Portuguese asks to speak to them.
