Juventus are considering letting Cristiano Ronaldo leave next summer due to his massive wages.

The Italian side are reportedly looking to balance their books after being hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.

Ronaldo is currently on £28m-per-year at the Serie A champions, with Spanish publication SPORT believing Juventus want to reduce their wage bill.

It means they could look at selling the 35-year-old in the coming summer rather than offer him a new contract, with his current deal set to expire in 2022.

A move would depend on another club being willing to pay his massive wages.

'Old Lady' boss Andrea Pirlo recently criticised his attackers, including the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, for being 'selfish' when on the pitch.

"I talk to my players a lot, but they make the choices when they are on the pitch. They could've been less egotistical and killed off the game earlier," he told Sky Sports Italia per Daily Mail.

"We are playing with two forwards plus two wide men. Once we get everyone in shape, we can evaluate who to use together. So far, not everyone has been at 100 per cent, so it's been normal to rotate them and leave one out."

Another man who has been critical of 'CR7' is ex-Juve star Pasquale Bruno.

He labelled the Portuguese international 'haughty' and slammed him for not learning Italian.

"He is ignorant," the Italian told Tiki Taka per Goal.

"He has been in Italy for two years and has not yet learned to speak our language.

"He uses Spanish to express himself. He has no respect for his team-mates or for the Italians."

Ronaldo started and scored in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Lazio but came off in the second half with an injury.

It's a blow for the forward as he's been sidelined over the last month after testing positive for coronavirus.
