Any Arsenal fans hoping for a reprieve from shite news will be relieved that this coming weekend doesn't bring another clash with Manchester City, but there's still plenty of gloom on the horizon, with another key player looking increasingly likely to leave the Gunners, this summer.

Having already lost Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United in January and with Jack Wilshere coming towards the end of his current deal, Gunners fans are in the midst of an all too familiar feeling of loss, with star players opting to ply their trade elsewhere instead of remaining at the Emirates Stadium.

Of course, Mesut Ozil did commit himself to a new deal in North London, but now another departure may be on the horizon, with Hector Bellerin reportedly unsettled at the club.

The Spanish full-back has repeatedly been linked with a move back to boyhood club Barcelona, but now it looks as if Juventus may have jumped to the front of the pack chasing the 22-year-old's signature.

David Hytner in the Guardian is today reporting that Bellerin is 'questioning his career direction' at Arsenal, giving the Italian champions belief that they can sign him, this summer.

Juve have apparently made a right-back a priority signing, this summer and are prepared to part with £45 million to bring Bellerin to Turin. Arsenal have, in the past, managed to resist overtures from Barcelona and Manchester City, but with another season outside the Champions League staring the club in the face, unless they can lift this season's Europa League, it will be much trickier to keep a happy Bellerin at the Emirates Stadium.

Bellerin signed a new deal with the Gunners in November, 2016, tying him down until June 2022. The Spain international has made 150 appearances for the Gunners, scoring seven goals and lifting the FA Cup in 2015 and 2017. The 22-year-old has also won three caps for Spain at international level.
