Manchester United are being linked with Monaco's Fabinho, as Jose Mourinho continues to bolster his squad for the upcoming new season.
The French club are prepared to let their highly-rated defender leave as long as the fee is agreed with Mourinho reportedly ready to line up a £22 million bid. According to Le Parisien there have already been dialogue between the two clubs.
This deal would make another defensive recruitment following the big-money addition of Eric Bailly, while adding some strong competition in that position with Darmian, Fosu-Mensah and Valencia on the books.
The Brazilian has enjoyed three seasons in Ligue 1 amassing 133 appearances scoring a respectable 10 goals from full-back, gaining a reputation as a promising star after his impressive performances at the Stade Louis II.

The news comes after further reports suggest Marcos Rojo has been subject to a loan bid by La Liga side Villareal, deemed surplus to requirements by the Portuguese. Is it a case of one in one out?
The 22-year-old is also a client of super agent Jorge Mendes who looks after Mourinho, which makes the link up oh so predictable.
