Huddersfield Town are on the verge of completing a deal for a former Spurs starlet.

Following promotion to the top flight, Huddersfield have enjoyed an impressive start to the Premier League season.

David Wagner's outfit are currently occupying 11th, racking up back-to-back-to-back draws against Southampton, Stoke City and Burnley.

And ahead of the second half of the season, the German is seeking for new talent with the January window open.

Per reports via The Huddersfield Examiner, Wagner is set to bolster his squad with the addition of Norwich's Alex Pritchard.

The report suggests the Premier League side are close to securing a £11 million deal.

Norwich had initially turned down the clubs £5 million bid. Though Huddersfield, hellbent on snapping up the pacey winger, tabled a second bid which appears to be accepted.

Pritchard, 24, has reportedly agreed a four-and-a-half year contract with the transfer nearing to a completion.

He came through Spurs' youth academy before eventually breaking into the first team.

However, his time at White Hart Lane will be remembered for his four loan spells away from the club. After stints at Peterborough United, Swindon Town, Brentford, WBA, he signed for Norwich in a deal worth £8 million after rising to prominence with Brentford, making the Championship Team of the Year for them in 2015.
