The Merseyside outfit recently sold Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig for an undisclosed fee, and they would like to make Kean a marque summer signing.
The 19-year-old graduated from Juventus' youth academy before breaking into the first in 2016 at the age of 16.
Last season, he helped his side win the Scudetto title as he weighed in with six goals.
So far this window, Marco Silva's side have snapped up Andre Gomes from Barcelona for £22.5 million and Fabian Delph from Manchester City for £8.5 million, as well as goalkeeper Jonas Lossl on a free.
