Borussia Dortmund chief Joachim Watzke admits Erling Haaland will play for one of the 'best clubs in the world' and is well aware of a certain team that 'seduces' the star forward.

Haaland has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with several reports linking him with a mega move away from Germany.

Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, among many others, have reportedly expressed an interest in snapping up the talented phenom.

Not to mention Real Madrid, who appear to be leading the race to landing Haaland next summer.

Dortmund CEO Wakzke has now revealed that the Spanish giants 'seduces' the 21-year-old ahead of a potential transfer.

He told AS: "He is an independent personality. Anyway, at some point he will play for one of the best clubs in the world, although he is already playing for one of the best clubs in the world.

"But I know, of course, that Real Madrid seduces him."

On the player's agent Mino Raiola, he added: "The ball is in Erling's court. I have a good relationship with Mino Raiola.

"It is not correct to believe that Mino only thinks about money . He also thinks about what is. better for the player."

Haaland's release clause of £68 million will be activated in the summer of 2022, with Europe's elite clubs set to pounce.

The Norway international has been ultra-prolific since signing for Dortmund, scoring 41 goals in all competitions last season.

He's on course for another big campaign, with 11 goals to his name already this season.
