Over the past year Alberto Gilardino, Alessandro Diamante and Graziano Pelle have made the Chinese Super League their new home and they could about to be joined by another Italian striker.
Controversy courting Antonio Cassano has received two offers to ply his trade in the billionaire's playground of the Chinese Super League.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the former Bari, Roma, AC and Inter Milan striker has been offered €8 million to join one of Guangzhou R&F or Shandong Luneng.

However, despite the millions on offer in the Far East, Cassano is willing to wait a while longer before signing a contract in the Orient, with the Italy international hoping an offer from a European club will come in at some point during the January transfer window.
A move to China would be the latest in a long line of transfers for the enigmatic Cassano, who was once the most expensive teenager in world football, when Roma parted with €30 million to bring Cassano to the Stadio Olimpico from Bari.

Spells at Real Madrid, both Milan clubs, cash strapped Parma and a couple of tenures with Sampdoria have since followed, however, having been excluded from Samp's first team this season, the former Bari wonderkid is now seeking somewhere else to see out the remainder of his remarkable career.
