Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos leads the way with the most red cards for any footballer since 2000.

The 34-year-old Spaniard is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in world football right now.

But Ramos hasn't been afraid to lock horns with other players on the pitch and has received plenty of bookings across his illustrious playing career.

According to Transfermarkt, the Spain captain has received over 250 yellow cards since 2000.

And Ramos has been sent off an incredible 26 times throughout his career, all of which came during his club career.

Transfermarkt added that the aforementioned stat is "remarkable" based on the fact that he hasn't been sent off for Spain, despite making over 150 appearances for his country.
