The Premier League are considering implementing a new kick-off time on Saturday evenings and it's certainly not gone down well with fans.
As per The Mirror, when representatives from every top flight club meet up in London this week, one of the topics that will be up for discussion, is the possibility of adding a fourth kick-off slot for games that take place on Saturday.
A chairmen's meeting will take place Thursday, when a proposal will be made for adding 7.45pm Premier League games on Saturday nights.
As we know, with mega TV deals coming into play, kick-off times in English football have changed dramatically over the years, moving away from the classic 3pm kick-offs back in the day.

While 3pm kick-offs are still a thing for now, 12.45 and 5.30 games are seen as the more lucrative fixtures and now Premier League officials are considering having another game take place two hours later.
It would of course bring that extra TV revenue into the English game, for Premier League clubs, but downsides include giving fans more time in pubs and bars ahead of the game, likely making it more difficult for policing and sufficient safety measures to be put in place.

In addition to that, the move to introduce another Saturday kick-off time would also bring about travel issues for fans. Imagine being a Newcastle fan and having to trek up to Bournemouth for a 7.45pm kick-off on a Saturday? Or vice-versa? It's less than ideal isn't it?
Some fans have been voicing their anger on social media:
