Adidas are developing a knack of producing remakes of some of their famed boots and it appears the Predator X is going to be the latest to get updated and upgraded.

Footy Headlines say they have received word that the popular predators are slated for a re-release and David Beckham, the legendary player you would most associate with the iconic cleats, will be involved in some capacity.

The 2009 release of the Predator X, which was the 10th version of predators, saw the end of the traditional tongue, with the boots wore by Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Xavi, and Raul to name just a few.

Black, white and red was the primary colour scheme for the boots but they were also available in a slew of other colour combinations.

The talk is that the all-new Predator X boots will be available in all good stores around the globe in April/May time and it will follow on from the September release of the Euro 2000 Predator Precision boots.

Zinedine Zidane, along with the likes of David Trezeguet, Beckham and Alessandro del Piero sported the glorious footwear throughout the tournament and Adidas delighted fans with the reimagined version.

You can't beat nostalgia, and you can't beat a pair of old-school Adidas preds...
