Ladies and gentlemen. It's the image every Manchester United fan has been waiting for. Alexis Sanchez has been snapped wearing the famous number seven shirt.

Pictured taking selfies on the Old Trafford pitch, the 29-year-old will officially be announced as a Manchester United on Monday, according to reports.

Alexis. Number 7. The time is now.

Earlier today, eagle-eared fans noticed what United-bound Sanchez was listening to as he prepared to board a flight to Manchester.

Sanchez, who completed his medical on Sunday afternoon at the Carrington training ground, posted a video to his Instagram story with the lyrics to Robert Tepper's 'No Easy Way Out' playing in the background.

'No Easy Way Out', a song that appears on the Rocky IV soundtrack, includes the lyrics "I don't want to pacify you, I don't want to drag you down, but I'm feelin' like a prisoner. Like a stranger in a no named town."

A cheeky dig at Arsenal?

Sanchez received a call to inform him of a 'breakthrough in negotiations' on Friday night and made the journey up north straight away.

He was in the squad to face Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, according to The Mirror, but decided to leave for Manchester.
