Alexandre Lacazette pulled off one of the greatest dummies in football history during Arsenal's Premier League fixture against Brighton.

Dani Ceballos picked out a pass to Bukayo Saka courtesy of an incredible trick from Lacazette who dummied the ball while lying on the floor.

The Frenchman, who was facing the opposite direction of the ball, expertly lifted his legs in time for the ball to run through him to Saka.

A jaw-dropping moment which didn't go unnoticed by football fans on social media.

"I've watched it ten times and still can't figure out how he lifted his leg enough for the ball to fit under," one Twitter user wrote.

A second tweeted: "That's glorious. Straight from the training ground."

A third added: "Possibly the best dummy of all time."

Unfortunately for Arsenal, the dummy didn't lead to a goal as the Gunners suffered their second straight defeat since the Premier League restarted on Wednesday. They lost 2-1 to Brighton on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta's team occupy ninth place with 40 points on the board with eight fixtures remaining of the 2019/20 season.
