Karamoko Dembele Gets Off The Mark For Celtic Reserves

He's not even turned 16 yet...

At the age of 15, Karamoko Dembele made his debut for Celtic reserves and marked his bow by getting on the scoresheet.

Following his appearance for the Bhoys' Under 20 squad as a 13-year old a couple of years back,, the wonderkid has been on the radar of a plethora of European giants and already tipped for big things in the game.

And he continued his meteoric rise yesterday by getting on the scoresheet as the second side thumped Partick Thistle 6-0 in the Glasgow Cup.

Wearing the No.7 shirt, Dembele got in behind the backline down the right flank and set about cutting inside on his left peg.

He then jinked past a couple of challenges and then found the far corner courtesy of a deflection.

How long will it be before Dembele is fast-tracked into the first-team squad? With the way Brendan Rodgers talked about him earlier this year, you'd think it could happen sooner rather than later.

"From a talent perspective I could probably put Karamoko Dembele in to the first team right now but he's coming up to 15," the Celtic boss told the Daily Mail.

"I have to think about where he is at in terms of his maturation level. Not just his talent level."

Remember the name...
