Jose Mourinho's Manchester United are just one game away from Champions League football after a tricky 2-1 aggregate win against La Liga outfit Celta Vigo this evening.

United will face Dutch side Ajax at The Friends Arena in Prague on 24 May 2017. after they scraped through an even trickier aggregate victory over Lyon this evening.

Marouane Fellaini's goal in the first half secured the win, as the Reds look to lift the Europa League trophy for the first time in their 115 year history.

It seems the Belgian likes an important goal. Fellaini has now scored in a FA Cup semi final, EFL Cup semi final and now in an Europa League semi final for Manchester United.

It was a landmark goal for the Reds:

Celta Vigo did show promise during the tie, and should have converted a number of huge chances during the game.

Two red cards then meant that Eric Bailly will miss the final.

One of the stand out moments of the game was Paul Pogba's inventive skill in the centre of the park.

United have clearly missed Pogba in recent weeks, but his inclusion tonight is certainly noticeable. He produced the goods in the opening minutes with this sublime piece of skill in the centre:

Manchester United have so often played in Europe's biggest competition in years gone by, but the club could taste Champions League football for the first time in years if they manage to triumph over Ajax.

Can Mourinho's side go onto win the Europa League or will they fall at the final hurdle?

Let us know in the comments.
