Cameroon not only upset the odds to reach the African Cup of Nations final, but they have won the competition by beating Héctor Cúper's Egypt in one of the most dramatic finals in recent history.

Egypt, who were the heavy favourites coming into the competition, believed they were about to become eight-time winners in a record-equalling ninth AFCON final.

But an 88th minute strike from Besiktas striker Vincent Aboubakar sealed a historic win.

The Cameroon's squad, which includes two British-based players, Hearts midfielder Arnaud Djoum and Clinton N'Jie, have impressed in the competition, but nobody expected a win over The Pharaohs

Goals from Nicolas Nkoulou's in the 59th minute and Aboubakar's famous winner sent the crowd wild.

What a moment, and what a goal it was to seal the win:

Congratulations to Cameroon - worthy winners.
