Steven Gerrard hopes that Harry Kane ends the season with the golden boot, with the Tottenham striker reminding the Liverpool legend of Premier League legends Robbie Fowler and Alan Shearer.
Kane is enjoying another fruitful season in front of goal, finding the net 19 times in the league so far, this term, including three hat-tricks since the turn of the year.
And the Spurs striker added to his tally with a brace during Tottenham's 3-2 victory over Everton at White Hart Lane, this afternoon.

Romelu Lukaku is close behind with 17 goals, while Chelsea's Diego Costa and Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic are on 16 and 15 goals respectively.
And Steven Gerrard isn't the only Premier League legend who's been showering praise on Kane, recently...

Gerrard has explained why he wants the England striker to take the award, citing his attitude and style of play as major reasons.
"I hope it's Harry Kane. I just like him a lot, I'm a big fan of him, you see his finish last week, the first one, where he just rips the side-netting off.
"He Reminds me of Robbie Fowler in his pomp, or Alan Shearer, where they just burst the side netting with their finishes. He's got a little bit of selfishness about him, which I like in a striker."
Let's hope that, should Kane lift the award at the end of the season, that he pisses off yer da and celebrates in the same manner that he marked his first goal with, this afternoon.
