Social Media Reacts To Arsenal's Defeat To West Brom

Social Media Reacts To Arsenal's Defeat To West Brom

Things aren't going well for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal at the moment.

Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat in the Premier League for the second game running.

In a game that was dominated by off the field matters, as an anti-Wenger banner flew over the Hawthorns before the game, West Brom heaped further misery on Arsenal with an impressive 3-1 win.

A double from defender Craig Dawson from set pieces and a goal from Hal Robson-Kanu did the business for the Baggies and got them back to winning ways, even if things looked up for Arsenal when Alexis Sanchez equalised just moments after Dawson had opened the scoring in the first half.

Arsenal had a penalty appeal in the second half when Robson-Kanu appeared to clip Shkodran Mustafi in the box and appealed for offside for the second West Brom goal.

James McClean was in an offside position, but stepped over the ball and did not get a touch on Robson Kanu's effort. Still, Wenger will probably still have something to say about it.

But it was another toothless display from Arsenal, who have not won in the Premier League for over a month. They had 77% of the ball, but did not do enough with it.

The Gunners had Petr Cech forced off with a calf injury, Alexis Sanchez eventually had to come off with an ankle problem and in the air, Arsenal had fans arguing over Arsene Wenger by having banners with different opinions flying over the stadium.

An anti-Wenger banner was picked up by cameras before the game, before a banner in support of Wenger was shown as the game was being played.

Another day to forget for Arsenal and you can bet your life on some meltdowns on Arsenal Fan TV.

Here are the best reactions to another dismal display:

The result means that Arsenal have been beaten in their last three Premier League away games and have lost four of their last five league games.

A wretched run of form.

Does that signal the end for Wenger at Arsenal? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
