Sergio Ramos banned mobile phones at his wedding this weekend, though he did make an exception for one special guest: Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez.

Ramos tied the knot with TV presenter and long-time girlfriend Pilar Rubio at Seville cathedral, with around 400 guests, including former teammates as well as current national teammates.

As per Santi Cazorla, his Spain colleague, the Real Madrid skipper introduced a 'No Mobile phones' rule so that guests would be more sociable and the special day would be more meaningful.

However, Perez, who had a dressing room row with Ramos last season after the Champions League humbling at the hands of Ajax last season, was allowed to use his device.

"This day had it all, there were no cameras, no phones, nothing," Cazorla told El Hormiguero, via the Daily Mail.

"Only Florentino (Perez) had his phone. He was watching the ACB basketball final."

If you're going to let one guest use their phone, it's probably about right you pick your boss so fair play to Ramos.

The likes of Pepe Reina, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Alvaro Morata, Joaquin and Luka Modric were all in attendance, as were David and Victoria Beckham.

There were, however, quite a few notable omissions. Zinedine Zidane was in Bilbao with his wife while Gerard Pique and Shakira did not show despite getting an invite in the post.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his other half Georgina Rodriguez were not invited. Despite the pair winning a slew of trophies at the Bernabeu over a nine-year spell, Ramos was rumoured to have been angered by Ronaldo's manner involving his departure from the Spanish capital.

And according to Marca this has extended into not inviting Ronaldo to his martial ceremony.
