Kasper Schmeichel Reveals What Ranieri Said To Leicester Players After Sacking

Kasper Schmeichel has revealed the details of what Claudio Ranieri said to the Leicester City players after learning about his sacking.

The Italian was fired less than 10 months after guiding the club to an unlikely Premier League title win, with a series of poor results seeing the champions in serious danger of going down.

A number of Leicester players, including Schmeichel, paid tribute to their former boss.

And the Leicester No.1 also opened up about Ranieri said to the Leicester squad after finding out about his sacking.

Schmeichel, along with teammates Marc Albrighton, Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan, were strongly rumoured to be the driving forces behind Ranieri's exit.

He addressed those rumours in a different interview, this time chatting with Sky Sports' Geoff Shreeves:
