Sam Allardyce is to swap the dugout for the dancefloor, with the former England manager set to be one of the contestants on the upcoming series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' on BBC.
The former Bolton Wanderers manager has been out of work since being sacked by Everton in 2018 but has been keeping himself busy with TV and radio work.
He's been in talks about joining Strictly since around April time, reportedly asking about how former footballers John Barnes and Robbie Savage had got on.
And now it's looking as though Big Sam will indeed be throwing some shapes after presenter Iain Lee appeared to slip up on Good Morning Britain.
Advert
Lee was discussing the rumoured line-up for the show but accidentally announced the first three names ahead of tim, saying, "They are going to announce the first three people on a show called The One Show - it's going to be Sam Allardyce, Jamie Laing and Anneka rice."
Sports stars Darren Gough, Mark Ramprakash and Louis Smith have all tango'd their way to victory in past editions of the show and we're well onboard with Allardyce taking time out from drinking pints of wine to give us his best salsa dance.
Harry Redknapp as King of the Jungle in I'm A Celebrity, Sam Allardyce having a stab at Strictly Come Dancing - we're just waiting for Alan Pardew to end up in the Big Brother house and then all will be well.
