Mo Salah Stopped Midway Through Post-Match Interview To Say Something To Liverpool Fans

The traveling Liverpool fans were in full-voice before, through-out the game as well as after the final-whistle, and the noisy bunch even distracted Mohamed Salah mid-interview.

'The Egyptian King' improved his astonishing goal-scoring record by netting Liverpool's equaliser against Manchester City.

He's now weighed in with 39 goals (!!) in all competitions.

Following his heroics for Liverpool, he's naturally become an Anfield hero. Home or away, fans are passionately singing his name.

"Mo Salah, running down the wing..."

And the Liverpool fans who headed to the Etihad last night continued to adore Salah by chanting his name during an interview.

A distracted Salah brilliantly acknowledged the fans before giving his response to the song: "It's a good song. I like it."

After securing a spot in the semi-finals, Salah took to social media. He posted two pictures of himself celebrating his goal with no words, just a football emoji.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jordan Henderson commented in style.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp will wait in anticipation ahead of Friday's Champions League semi-final draw.

Liverpool are in the hat. Though Barcelona won't be. AS Roma completed a truly unbelievable comeback to earn a spot in the last round.

"I walked up the stairs and someone told me. I thought it was a joke," Klopp replied when asked about Tuesday's other Champions League tie.

"Not that I don't respect Roma, they are fantastic team. I just wasn't expecting it, but knew it was possible. They lost Mo Salah and they are in the semis - it's a big thing!"

Klopp added: "The Champions League is not about perfection - it's about the result, character, mentality and attitude. We created that and fought for the result. I love that.

"It was not our best game but deserved at the end. There were plenty of things that we could have done better. We needed to start new.

"We used the momentum for us and we knew for City if we scored one goal then the atmosphere is pretty different. Now we are in the semis."
