Sadio Mane has revealed the brilliant text message he sent to Roberto Firmino prior to Tuesday's Champions League fixture versus Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian was a doubt for the European fixture following a gruesome collision with Spurs' Jan Vertonghen, who accidentally poked his eye.

He didn't train during the week as Jurgen Klopp ultimately fielded Daniel Sturridge up front with Firmino named as a substitute.
However, Firmino made a huge impact after entering the fray.
With the score level at two-a-piece, he popped up and bagged a last-gasp winner to secure all three points in dramatic scenes.

After beating PSG, Mane spoke about Firmino which included revealing the message he sent to him on Monday.
"I think Bobby doesn't need his eye to play so I told him," Mane said.
"I sent him a message on Monday saying: 'Hey Bobby, come on, we need you.'
"You've all seen the 'no look' goals so I think he doesn't need his eye to play. I texted him saying: 'You don't need your eye!'"

Mane was unable to find the back of the net on Tuesday, though he did leave his mark on the thrilling game.
He casually ruined Neymar with an outrageous piece of skill in the first half.

He also got flattened by James Milner in a crunching tackle, and he reacted to his challenge by uploading a hilarious post on Instagram.
Anyway, Liverpool resume their Premier League campaign this weekend as they host Southampton.
The Reds will be looking to make it six wins from six league games.
