Cristiano Ronaldo To Wear Special Edition Cheetah-Printed Nike Mercurial Boots
Real Madrid face Paris Saint-Germain next week in the return leg of the Champions League, and Cristiano Ronaldo will mark the occasion with a pair of special edition boots.
The Nike cheetah-printed boots have been designed by English designer Kim Jones, and are officially named 'Nike Mercurial Superfly 360 x Kim Jones'.
Naturally, the boots comprise of a orange base accompanied with black spots.
Jones' upbringing in Africa inspired the look of the boots.
"I grew up in Africa and have always admired the strength of animals," he said via Daily Mail.
"The cheetah is the fastest land animal, so it makes complete sense as an inspiration for me.
Ronaldo has already worn the boots during training, and he'll don them against PSG in the Champions League second leg.
The Portuguese superstar bagged a brace against the French giants with his side heading to Paris two goals up following the 3-1 victory at the Bernabeu.
While Ronaldo is struggling for form by his high standards in the La Liga, he's weighed in with 11 goals in Europe's elite competition.
