Paul Merson is a man of his words.
When Huddersfield secured promotion to the Premier League last season courtesy of a Play-Off final victory, not many fancied their chances to hold onto their top flight status.

Including Merson who was adamant 'The Terriers' were heading straight back down.
And he even made a bet.
If David Wagner managed to keep his side in the Premier League, Merson said he'd wear a 'Gonzo' costume on television.

Following Huddersfield's point against Chelsea on Wednesday night, the club will continue to ply their trade in the Premier League with Merson eating his words.

As well as dressing up as 'Gonzo' on Sky.
